3. Transnational Project Meeting of IDEAL in Brno: Strengthening Health Literacy for the Deaf

On 11–12 September 2024, the 3rd transnational project meeting of the IDEAL project took place at Středisko Teiresiás in Brno, Czech Republic. The project focuses on improving health literacy among Deaf adults. The meeting was hosted by TEIRESIAS and attended by partners from INNOSIGN, TUCEP, AUSRU, IRR, CNSE, and SIGNCODERS.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the results of field research, ongoing educator training, and planned activities for the upcoming period. This milestone represents an important step toward achieving the goals of the IDEAL project, which aims to strengthen health literacy within the Deaf adult community.

Presentation of the IDEAL Project at the LangSkills 2 Conference

On 12 September 2024, the IDEAL project was presented at the LangSkills 2 Conference in Brno. The presentation, delivered in the form of a poster, attracted significant interest from conference participants, who inquired about various aspects of the project.

The discussions centered around topics related to health literacy and education for Deaf adults, contributing to greater awareness of the IDEAL project among professionals and stakeholders.

Through this event, the IDEAL project once again highlighted its crucial role in promoting health literacy and inclusion within the Deaf community.
